I was born in California where I attended Sierra High School. I continued my studies at the California Polytechnic State University and received my BFA from in Graphic Design with a double major in Fine Art's. My professional career in graphic design began as a Junior Designer for Dwell Magazine in San Francisco.. Since then I have continued working as a Graphic Designer and Art Director for Advertisment and fashion brands such as BBDO Advertising Agency, BLT Studios, Fox Broadcasting, Hurley Int., Knickerbocker MFG., Emersion Design and Marketing, Deso Supply Co., Tahoemade, and most recently J. Crew.
The purpose of this online portfolio is to showcase my brand building and design direction achievements from recent years - highlighting my contributions to the re-design of J. Crew's brand identity which I began working on in April of 2013. During my four years at J. Crew I would go on to oversee their Men's, and Boy's Graphics- creating branding, packaging, and t-shirt graphics for the company while partnering with other departments to assure consistency in the brands message. As the company grew I helped create the identities of new brands such as: Wallace & Barnes - a vintage inspired higher price point Men's collection, and Garments For Good - J. Crew's global initiative that supports a wide range of nonprofits like The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
I currently reside in Brooklyn where I am surrounded by a well curated collection of artists and inspiration.
